PROFESSIONAL OBJECTIVE
My objective is to work in a team-based and innovative academic environment where I can coach people with reference inquiries, present information to classes, pursue research interests, design webpages and other information content. The ideal position will thus blend public service with creative projects, and be in a positive environment where I can provide high quality and dedicated service to people.

1) Serve and interact with a diverse group of children, teens, and adults in a busy music library, 2) coordinate the Prepare4more program (P4M) and the Merit College Advising Program (MCAP), presenting sessions on college exploration, financial aid, and college success, 3) collect and purchase music-related resources, as well as resources for summer camps, competitions, colleges, and Chicago area high schools, 4) catalog and circulate over 15,000 books, scores, CDs, videos, and instruments, 5) manage all operations of the library including budgeting, purchasing, and volunteers, 6) substitute teach for musicianship classes, and 7) for two years organized and implemented the Composer of the Month Club and the Merit Young Musicians Competition, including lesson plans, marketing, and creating competition guidelines.
